Mead has roots tracing back thousands of years, making it a fitting beverage for any historical event. In fact, these types of events are some of our favorites.
Join us at the Jacobsburg Historical Society’s annual Market Faire & Rendezvous being held October 29 - 30 on the grounds of the Boulton Historic Site.
Now in its 36th year, the Fur Trade Rendezvous and Market Faire is designed to celebrate life in early industrial America, with a focus on the important role the Boulton site played in our developing nation. Starting in the late 18th century, the area was home to several generations of the Henry Family, renowned for the blackpowder longrifles they produced in the region for more than 100 years. Now, the site honors the region's rich gunmaking tradition by serving as the home of the Pennsylvania Longrifle Museum, which features more than 100 longrifles - many crafted by the Henrys - from the 1700s-1800s.
