Colony Meadery's popular Black mead returns on Black Friday, along with a new menu at the Colony Meadery at the Book Shop location.
The Colony Meadery's Black mead is back on Black Friday for a limited time. The popular blackberry-blackcurrant mead is rich, dark and complex and released in very small batches every so often.
Black's release on November 25 will be accompanied by a new menu at The Colony Meadery at the Book Shop inside The Moravian Book Shop on Main Street in Bethlehem, Pa.
The new menu features mead pairings that will compliment the meads available for flights or purchase by the glass, bottle, and growler.

We’ve designed a series of food pairings to highlight and complement the flavors in our beverages. Each pairing consists of three locally sourced selections and three meads, seasonally chosen to go together.

Made to a traditional Pennsylvania Dutch cream soda recipe, 7.5% abv

Cranberries and oranges, 13% abv
