Every one of Colony's flagship meads has one a medal at Mazer Cup International with Favorite Child winning 3 gold medal honors.
“We pride ourselves in making a top-tier beverage,” said Mike Manning, Cofounder and Mead Maker of The Colony Meadery. “But, to win at The Mazer Cup, where we are judged by our peers, is one of the highest honors we can achieve in this industry.”
The Colony Meadery opened at the Bridgeworks Enterprise Center on Harrison Street in Allentown in 2013. The Meadery released the first of its meads to the public in January 2014. The Meadery opened its second tasting room inside The Moravian Book Shop, the nation’s oldest, in Bethlehem in August 2015.
“Winning is a great feeling and it’s a testament to the amount of pride and work we put into making our meads. We’re excited for the future,” said Greg Heller-LaBelle, Cofounder and Chief Executive Officer of The Colony Meadery.
